  AYSO's FIVE PILLARS:
 
Everyone Plays (all players get playing time, no one plays
a full game until all players play at least 3 quarters)
Balanced Teams (All teams should be split up so they are
equal in "strength" one team should not win every game, while another loses every game)
Open Registration (Players should be allowed to register at any time before or during the season, however, there will be waiting lists once the teams are full. If enough kids sign up after registrtation has ended a second team may be formed) 
Positive Coaching (Coaches will be trained and certified according to AYSO guidelines and will use positive coaching techniques)   Sportsmanship (It is not all about winning and losing! It is about having fun and learning the game, there wil not be "lopsided" scoring. Once a team is up by more than 3 goals, they should not run the score up)
