How do I register my child for Mohawk AYSO?

Answer: It's as simple as calling Tara Fischer at 866-2095.

When my child plays in the fall, does he or she need to reregister for the spring season?

Answer: Your child is already signed for the spring season-don't worry!

Am I or my child going to have to sell anything for fundraising?

Answer: Never in the 20-year-history of Mohawk AYSO have we required our kids or parents to sell anything for fundraising!

What size ball do I need to buy my child for practice?

Answer: We highly recommend that U-6, -8 and -10 players have a size 4 ball; older players a regulation size 5. PLACE NAME ON THE BALL!

Am I entitled to a refund if my child decides not to play?

Answer: It is the policy of Regions 658 to grant only full refunds to players who have neither practiced nor played in any game. There are no partial refunds.

If my child plays only in the fall or only in the spring, is there any cost reduction?

Answer: Our pricing is not pro-rated by the game; our registration fee

is based on the whole program offered (16 games). If a child only plays 1/2 of our program, it is the same price.

I don't know much about this game. Is there any way I can learn to coach or referee and help out?

Answer: We are excited to invite volunteers into our organization. Many of us knew little about soccer when we first became involved. We will not only provide the courses and materials, Mohawk AYSO will pay for everything as you progress through our excellent training. Can I bring my pet to the field for practices and/or games?

Answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT. AYSO has suffered some serious legal complications as a result of animal attacks. Our liability insurance carrier has warned us to FORBID ANYONE FROM BRINGING THEIR PET, LEASHED OR OTHERWISE, TO ANY AYSO FUNCTION. We thank you for understanding our legal obligations.
